Q + A

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by 20 July 2026.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Black Tie Optional, please see ‘Dress Attire’ tab for outfit inspo

How do I get there?

Please see the 'Travel' tab for more information.

Where do I stay?

It would be amazing to have as many people as possible stay on-site with us! Most people will be in the Shearers Quarters or the Glamping area, at $165 per person, per night – which covers all food across the three days. Please see the ‘Accommodation’ tab for more information.

Do I need to pay for accomodation if I stay on site?

Yes, unfortunately we won’t be able to cover this cost. We’ll reach out to you about payment once you’ve RSVP’d.

Do I have to stay the whole three nights?

We’d love for everyone to stay the whole time, but we totally understand if that’s not possible. Just let us know your plans when you RSVP.

Is there parking available on site?

Yes, there will be plenty of space to park if you choose to drive to the venue

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

3:30 PM, next to the Barunah Homestead.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Every single person invited to our wedding holds a special place in our hearts. We’ve taken a lot of time to build a guest list of people who have genuinely shaped our lives—those who have supported us and who we see as continuing to be part of our future. You have received an invitation because you mean that much to us. With that in mind, we won’t be including additional plus-ones. The names of those invited will be listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We absolutely adore all of your little ones, and they’re more than welcome to stay with you at the on-site accommodation (and attend the before and after events). However, we kindly ask that our wedding day itself be an adults-only celebration—think of it as an official night off for parents. Since many of our guests have children, we recommend connecting with each other for babysitting options, Sam’s bridesmaid (Sophie McDonald) is going to help coordinate some of the childcare options so reach out to her if you need help!

Should I bring a gift?

Since many of you will be travelling, your presence is truly the greatest gift! If you’d like to contribute, we do have a honeymoon fund, but please don’t feel obligated. We’re just so excited to celebrate with you! Details are here: ANZ SAMANTHA GREGORY & TIMOTHY KEMP 02-0224-0470589-000

Should I bring my own food for the before and after wedding events?

The cost of food for the three days is included in your accomodation costs. If you prefer to cater for yourself, you’re more than welcome! Both the Shearer’s Quarters and the Homestead have spacious kitchen facilities available. Just let us know when you RSVP.

Should I bring my own alcohol?

We’ll have an open bar for the wedding and hopefully some leftovers for the day after, but that all depends on how much you lot push the boat out—so we recommend bringing your own drinks for the day before and after, just in case.
